Consulting.com has done $100M+ in sales without paid advertising. The copy is what drives everything with VSLs, sales pages, emails, and launch sequences. Your job is to write the words that move people to buy. You'll own the highest-stakes written assets in the company and work directly with leadership on messaging strategy. If you've written copy that's generated real revenue and you can prove it, this is the role for you.

Must Haves

  • Written direct response copy professionally for 5+ years with a focus on VSLs, sales pages, and email sequences
  • Personally written copy that has generated at least $1M in trackable revenue across launches, funnels, or evergreen assets
  • Written copy for at least one high-ticket offer ($2K+ price point) in education, coaching, or consulting
  • Have at least one control or top-performing asset you can point to that beat a previous version or benchmark with real conversion data

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Consulting.com, Agency Navigator, or similar education/coaching brands as a customer or in a professional capacity
  • Have managed or mentored junior copywriters and can give feedback that improves output
  • Experience producing or directing video scripts, understanding pacing, delivery, and how copy translates to screen
  • Background in media buying or CRO where you understand how copy fits into the full funnel economics

Core Responsibilities

  • Write and iterate on high-stakes copy assets including VSLs, sales pages, ads, email sequences, and launch campaigns
  • Work directly with leadership on messaging strategy, offer positioning, and campaign direction for new and existing products
  • Build and maintain a copy testing system where every major asset has a hypothesis, a version to beat, and a documented result

Expectations

  • Within 30 days: Audit every existing sales asset, understand the offers inside and out, study past performance data, and learn how the brand sounds. By day 30 you should be able to tell us what's working, what's underperforming, and why
  • Within 60 days: Have your first rewrites or new assets live and generating data. At least one VSL, sales page, or email sequence should be in testing with a clear hypothesis behind every change you made
  • Within 90 days: Every major sales asset has a testing roadmap, you're shipping new copy consistently, and leadership is coming to you for messaging decisions, not the other way around
