Full-Stack Developer
Application Deadline: May 23, 2026
Consulting.com runs entirely on software we build in-house. The funnels that convert, the portals clients log into, the internal tools that run the operation. All of it. Your job is to own features across the full stack: React on the front-end, Node.js on the back-end, PostgreSQL underneath. We ship fast and hold a high bar. If you write clean code, take full ownership of what you build, and don't need to be managed, this is that role.
Must Haves
- 5+ years building production React.js applications. You've managed complex state, handled real performance problems, and shipped UIs that real users depend on
- Solid Node.js backend experience. You've built and maintained REST APIs, integrated third-party services, and kept production systems reliable
- PostgreSQL at the schema design level. You've designed tables, written migrations, diagnosed slow queries, and can explain your indexing decisions without looking them up
- Available for at least 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time and can commit to it consistently
Nice to Haves
- Experience at a digital education, SaaS, or membership platform where your code was central to a live user-facing product
- TypeScript in production. You've worked in a strictly-typed codebase and know when the discipline pays off
- Have built or shipped a feature with an AI integration that real users interact with. Not a prototype
- Time as a solo or founding engineer where you set the architecture and made the hard calls without anyone above you to escalate to
Core Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end across the full stack, from database schema through deployed front-end UI
- Build and maintain REST APIs, third-party integrations, and backend services that power the platform
- Work directly with engineering leadership and founders to turn business requirements into production systems, and push back when the brief doesn't make sense
Expectations
- Within 30 days: You understand the full stack, have shipped at least one production feature, and can navigate the codebase without being guided. By day 30 you should have a clear opinion on where the technical debt is and what matters most
- Within 60 days: You own a meaningful area of the product. Multiple features shipped, at least one real architectural decision made and defended, and you've started improving systems rather than just adding to them
- Within 90 days: Other engineers lean on your technical judgment. You've led an initiative from brief to production and have full ownership of your area of the codebase
Application Process
20-min initial application
Technical skills assessment
Code review and 1on1 with engineering lead
Leadership culture interview
Compensation & Benefits
- $95K–$115K base salary based on experience

- Direct access to founders on every major initiative
